The best way to kill a zombie is to cut off its head, but be careful of the still snapping head. Dispose of the body through fire, and wear some type of hazmat suit while disposing of the body.

ok, Im just saying though that you could probably use a sword more effectively than a spear

You can use a sword better than a spear. A spear is useful, but it relies on getting that lucky stab in the eye.

a stab on the top of the head would kill a zombie

even a gardening tool like a shovel would work for this

any blow to the head will prbably get them

now that you mention claymore mine types they may b usefull in tight quarters with zombies

imagine your trapped and the hallway is lined with claymores and when zombies fill it
