| also, it does not take alot to sever flesh and bone from one to another even a novilty sword would be capable of doing it for a short wihle | |

| sigh stop talking like your going to go ninja on the zombies
as far as novelty swords go katanas and other japanese types are the worst
and they propably wont last more than one encounter
they arent designed for prolonged combat they are designed to be on the wall and look pretty

| swords are awesome, dont think they arent just because we are in the gun age
and will you stop it? He obviously likes that sword and if you insult his purchase one more time you are getting a warning; Ive asked you nicely to stop already

| first of all japanese swords took a considerably longer time to craft
and just because you like naruto and anime doesnt mean that the swords are better crafted it is thinking like that thats going to put you on a zombies dinner plate
but i have come to a realization with zombies we are dealing with necrotic flesh
the longer the zombies have been rottting the more susceptable they are to knives and such

| im going to say this once, and only once......
it takes about 35 lbs of direct force to cut a human limb off
a human can swing a sword (katana or otherwise ) in exess of 75lbs of direct force... that number is increased based on the weigth of the blade
heavy blade= more power light blade= not too much power

| I think trebor knows what hes talking about. Have you even used a sword before Ralok? Trebor's talking in very scientific terms and I believe him, skin shouldnt be terribly hard to cut and bones arent diamonds, as a matter of fact they have a hollow center | |

| not a throwing spear i think the better word is spade even a really long stick would work
you thrust down pull it back up then repeat until all zombies are dead im more about survival than hunting the beasts
plus buy the survivial buides its a great buy
and buy world war z its very enlightening not just on zombies but on humanity aswell

| Erm, in the eyes of MY Guide, Katana's are viewed as the best close combat weapons. Sadly true working models are hard to find. | |

| a katana is a sword with a single side a none working model even could sever the flesh of a rotting zombie up to seventeen times i think
but the problem is you want the most out of it a sword that can be swung both ways inflicting damage twice
thats my opinion
also i love fake weapons dont think that i have poor opinions on novelty crap weapons
if my career is successful i plan on haveing an extensive collection including authentic movie props
one i really would like to get my hands on is ronons gun and the sword of that guy from the movie serenity and a couple of knives from the chronicles of riddick

| see this is why I feel like an idiot in this conversation. Ive never had ANY classes and I'm basically living off of what I can find in the Star Wars Visual Dictionaries and some of the movies. But one thing I definitley learned is the different zones of striking
1. Head 2. Left arm/ left half of torso (assuming I was facing you, my left) 3. Right arm/ right half of torso 4. Back 5. Left Leg 6. Right Leg
