| its not suckish! but here are some tips to make it FW-mod quality.
-vary what buildings you put in the background. In the corner they are all the same and all facing the same way. -make more.... complicated maps. The maze-like features are the whole strategy of the maps.

| Make it not so clear cut, and realistic. Think of how the countryside, cities etc. flow, and have areas flow neatly into each other, looking natural, so not just a field suddenly becomes a mountain, which suddenly becomes a city. Also with the terrain, make it naturally shaped, not in blocks (two blocks at the bottom of the river I notice, rounds them off and have some shallows around them, as a gradient into the water. There's nothing wrong with having open plains, could be nice for battlefields, but make sure there is tactical environments. And simply vary the terrain types a bit; the base on the ledge is nice and tactically logical if you think about where you would choose to build a fortress, but it wouldn't just be clear cut on one level like that, once again make it natural . | |

| Only a little; it's not really bad but perhaps Lyeman could teach you.
Think about the lie of the land, making things integrate smoothly into each other and adding detail, but not over-doing it.

I hope that wasn't intended to be sarcastic, Lyeman is a perfectly capable mapper.

| When I first opened it I was trying to figure out what I didnt like: the map itself is excellent, no questions there youve got some potential. The only things Im doing is just touching up some realism 'issues' | |
