I wish to apply to be a concept artist. I am a very good drawer, and can draw things very well if told what they look like. Here are some examples:

checked. well, can you do anything on the computer instead? like using paint, photoshop etc? just hand drawings never do anyone justice.

I am learning Illustrator (already can do ps, not v. useful for from-scratch art), as many probably have noticed Razz.

I'm doing really well already, if concept artists want their hand drawns converted into digitalised and coloured concept art, send a scan my way Smile.

Oops, I forgot to add something: the UNSC Supercruiser also carries several Nova Bombs, in order to better combat Covenant Supercruisers. Twisted Evil

I think s-t-n means that you should find a pic (of a ship or something he made) and redraw it, so that he can see your drawing skills.

Also, It might help if you shaded your drawings, to help bring out some depth.

Proportionatly you drawings are pretty good. Making something look smaller (with out messing up your drawings) as things get father away is hard.

Try to add a little bit more fine detail. As a modeller I would like drawings that are detialed enough that I would not have to fill in my own detials to the model.

Not bad, a good sketch; things to check are (when doing a final piece) going over and finalising eg. the ovular bulbs and erasing lines. I'm sure when you produce full things your shading is good; just be careful to make sure that the lines are parallel, especially considering it is a 3D simulating image Smile.

the super carrier only bothers me because it doesnt seem to fit the visual stylings of the unsc it isnt blocky

it seems to be not epic enough

well it is blocky but its like the wrong kind of blocky

its more pentagonal shapes or octogonal

hmmm

it needs to be more cubed or semi cubed

UNSC are more interested in hexagons. Razz

And If I put in a cube, it'd look too much like a Halcyon-class cruiser.

Not epic enough?! At their rate, the UNSC dont' give a feather about epicness; they need a ship that can take on the big Covie ships effectively. They don't care about looks.

the engines are disjoined

i dont know how to describe whats wrong with it

the engines of unsc ships are usually stuck in the hull somewhere

hmmm all i am saying is tht a different approach has to be taken

The engines are spread out like those of a frigate, to give the Supercruiser better maneuverability. Other wise, turning would take forever.

meh i am indeifferent

the name super carrier implies that it carries things the ship should be designed to carrier a large number of fighters

aswell with engines like that they would probably snap off.

perhaps the ships should have a semi unattached second layer of armor for protetion

lotsa turrets on the sides protecting hte hangers

and two nova bomb launchers and three mac cannons in from

archer pods located in various places

but this is just my opinion

and my ideas

In the name of Aves, read the description. Also, I'M not in charge of how many weapons it has. What it does say is only in theory.

Third, it's the SuperCRUISER, not the SuperCARRIER.

Fourth: For my sake, read the description! It has two HYPER Mac Guns, which are more powerful than even those on a station. It also has eight HEAVY Shiva Nuclear Warhead launchers.

Not to mention hundreds of oversized Archer Missile Pods. This allows the Supercruiser to launch over a 100,000 missiles at once.

I can't draw ALL the weapons!!! You know how long that would take?!

well then now there is an idea for a carrier

every written mistake can be turned into a positive idea (probably not true)

you are pushing the limits

you designed a ship built by the unsc that could take down a few to many covenant ships (-keyes loop)

i feel it has to fit the idea of humans at the time

desperation yes they could fit that many weapons but where would they build it

the stations are pushing hte limits of mac technologies

when would htey find hte time to build this ship

and last i checked a nova bomb is a planet killer
shivas are good to

olease try to keep in mind that i am not trying to be angry

i am trying to have an intelligent discussion

about the limitations of unsc vessels

also try to keep in mind that i am not very educated on unsc technologies

Hey Man,

To Start, that drawing of the assault frigit is great! I think you could definatly do the concept job! Smile

I made a model of your Chaos Cammand Center. Here it is! Notice it looks kinda bland. Anyway the second one is another version with more detial. Dude, you can do anything you want! I know it's a pain to think up detail, but the more you put in, the better the model is going to look.
